Monday’s in the garden. A posse ad esse – From possibility to reality.
When I first set out to do the Monday’s in the garden feature I was thinking of doing it weekly. But it has worked out that I will probably do it bi-weekly semi-monthly. Hope that doesn’t disappoint, but I just don’t follow 52 gardening blogs. As summer comes back into the picture I may pop in every few weeks with updates on my own garden, but it is asleep and gently being covered with a blanket of snow at this point.
Welcome All! I’m a dreamer, I hope you are too! A Posse ad Esse, or From possibility to reality, is a general state of mind. I hope you’ll share your possibilities with me as I will with you. Namaste~
Today’s feature is A posse ad esse, another of my favorite blogs. I first came upon this blog when I joined Freedom Gardens. I hadn’t been a member more than maybe a day when I received a welcome email from Paul Gardener, the blog owner of A posse ad esse and a Freedom Gardens member from Utah. Though I was a complete stranger I immediately felt like I was communicating with a long time friend. When I read his blog I felt the same thing.
From how to raise chickens and organic pest control, to a story about a handmade Christmas, Paul covers every topic. Not just about the garden, but about life in general. There is a great feeling of calm that comes over me when I read his blog. It is like I hear his voice reading the story to me, I feel like I am there. A part of his life and his family. A recent comment on one of his posts said it well:
I love your blog its so informative on life not just one subject and so many people have basic questions I know you have answered or would love to find the answer to. I hope you don’t mind me sending more people your way I love that you show people no matter the size of your yard or the money you have you can grow your own food and cook your own compost and its not as difficult as people want to think it is.
So whether you are a gardener, a dreamer, a builder or just you, you will probably find something about this blog that draws you in and makes you feel like you are home. Enjoy.
