CFL’s are gradually losing favor to LED’s as the energy saving bulb of the future, even with companies like GE ramping up production of CFL’s. As the prices drop and production increases, I expect we will all move to the more environmentally sound LED bulb. So, please do dispose of your CFL’s responsibly when you replace them.
