Very interesting alternative to wind turbines.

This is a pretty cool invention by a young man in California. He has put together a way to generate power through an alternative to wind turbines. His invention uses a membrane that is pulled taught. When the wind moves over it, it causes it to oscillate. This oscillation in turn moves two magnets around two sets of coils and generates small amounts of power. The thought would be to develop this into large scale production. I wonder if it will work? Fabulous invention nonetheless.
