  • The one drawback to encouraging people to go green is the extra costs they have to pay. Using products that are made from renewable resources, reclaimed products, installing solar or wind energy for your home, all of these are more expensive, initially, than non renewable. We need more incentives to go green. I believe that as more people widely use green products the costs will go down via supply/demand. I would love to have a totally green home, but building green, even renovating a home with green products is an expensive investment .. although in time you recoup your investment.
