EcoZebra is a regularly updated web magazine featuring news and trends on today’s emerging emerged green world.  We write on many topics and our focus broadly covers green building, sustainable development, real estate, green products from consumer goods to electronics to outdoor gear, renewable energy, organic gardening, green and sustainable design, architecture, building concepts and businesses. Basically, if it is green or good, applies in any way to things anyone could be interested in and can better our lives, we will post on it.

In 2009 look for us to expand with new writers, new topics and lots of information.

ABOUT Andrew Stone:

Andrew Stone – Founder and Editor of Ecozebra.

It was an interesting road getting here.  In 1991 I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Advertising and Marketing and a dream to start a “Green” advertising agency, it failed. Following this I continued to follow my career path in the hospitality industry as a Sales Manager for Bristol Hotels and Resorts and later as a General Manager for Intercontinental Hotels and Resorts. As General Manager I was responsible for two hotels, 15 managers, 200 employees, 500 guest rooms, 2 restaurants and 15,000 square feet of meeting space. Throughout this career I made every effort to green every aspect of the hotels where I worked. While it was a challenging, exciting and successful career I found myself looking for a connection with people that only Real Estate could give me and made my move to Real Estate in 2005 and soon began my blog with a focus on all things “Green” and a desire not to just have another real estate blog so I started what was called Green Focus-The real estate blog for changes that just make sense.

That blog  morphed into what is now EcoZebra-The blog for changes that just make sense, and has less and less to do with real estate everyday. However, Real Estate is still what I do and I will still continue my blog posts on all things that I think would be important to homeowners or just anyone concerned about our environment today.
